Transparent and beneficial transactions, timely delivery all around the world
My name is Ivan Chechuy. I am a founder and co-owner of SimpleFuel. Welcome to our company website!
SimpleFuel specializes in trading and brokerage in the bunker fuel and lubricating oils market.
Having received a higher sea education, I worked as a sea navigator for many years, as a chief specialist in bunker industry for 15 years and then as a sales department director. As a director I was responsible for the development of a chain of business units in Eastern Europe and Black Sea areas. This vast experience helped me master all the ins and outs of the industry.
Today, together with my financial partner we are developing our own trading structure. In our business, we rely on the corporate ties, experience and knowledge, and seek to develop long-term relationship with our customers.
SimpleFuel customers get a wide range of services at favorable prices and terms, and benefit from strong ties between the buyer and the supplier.
The company addresses the issues of each customer individually instead of offering common approaches.
We know how to save your money on bunkering. It is possible due to the direct ties SimpleFuel has with suppliers, as well as our fundamental knowledge of procurement planning, logistics, pricing in ports and delivery options.
We are permanently analyzing the market to handle current information and to offer our customers most beneficial transaction options. SimpleFuel traders support a transaction at all its stages. Our customers receive the goods within contractually agreed deadlines without any delays or downtime.
Seamen don’t say “fuel a vessel”; they say “take a bunker” or “receive supplies” instead. Bunkering means the receipt and supply of fuel which is necessary to power a vessel.
The cost of bunker fuel depends on the price of crude oil, the demand, and hub-based pricing. We monitor the market and offer our customers the prices valid as of the transaction date.
Bunkering of vessels means purchase and sale of bunker fuel at domestic and international sea or river ports. This process requires competent legal support from the start to the end of supply. SimpleFuel undertakes the preparation and maintenance of documents. This is our responsibility.
A supply is deemed to be complete when the bunker fuel has been transferred from the supplier’s vessel to the buyer. This is confirmed with a bunker delivery note or a bill of lading.
